Pitch the Future is Groundswell Startups’ high-tech pitch competition and the capstone of the Space Coast Initiative. Built for pre-revenue or early-revenue stage startups across the Space Coast and Florida who are developing scalable solutions in fast-growing markets like advanced technology, AI, hardware, space, defense, and other emerging industries.
More than a demo day, Pitch the Future is a curated stage for companies ready to move from prototype to investment readiness, connecting startups with capital, strategic partners, and long-term ecosystem support.
Pitch the Future is open to early-stage, technology-driven startups across Florida, with priority given to companies rooted in the Space Coast.
SPACE COAST
Startups headquartered in Brevard County or maintaining a substantial operational presence here.
Building in sectors aligned with the Space Coast innovation economy, including space, defense, marine, advanced manufacturing, hardware, and AI.
STATEWIDE
Florida-based startups in high-growth sectors are welcome to apply.
Remaining spots will be awarded to the strongest statewide applicants.
All applicants must be technology-driven, scalable, and targeting large, high-growth markets.

The submission deadline is four weeks prior to the live pitch event, and applicants will be notified of final decisions no later than two weeks before the event.
